I proudly present my guide to creating your own nature based baby naming ceremony. My mission is to empower humans through intentional living and connecting with nature.The beginning of life is a great place to start!
This guide is the perfect way to land your baby on earth, connect your baby to nature, bring your baby into her/his family and communities, and declare your baby’s name!
Inside you will find two pages for each of the five elements. The first is a set of questions with some example answers to help you create that element’s aspect of your Ceremony. The second is a format for that element’s part of the ceremony with a sample script.
It is quite simple and the flow will feel natural. As you work through this guidebook, you will identify the elemental objects you choose to use and the people you wish to honor in each part of the ceremony. You will be able to write the script or outline as you go and create a list of items needed for the special day.

I love creating rituals to mark moments in time by making memories and meaningful connection to people and nature. Since I have been a farmer and now am a five element style acupuncturist, I have a deep understanding of how nature’s flow of seasons plays out in a year, in a moon cycle, in a day, in a breath, and in a lifetime.
