About Rituals
I have always found rituals to be helpful in my life when I am going through fun or challenging transitions or when i’m repeating a mundane routine. My goal is to help you create rituals to add meaning and memories to your life. The rituals we create can be linked to your religious tradition if you have one, or they can be secular. They are always nature based.
I use the five elements system of medicine, which is also the basis of my acupuncture treatments. This is a nature based system which acknowledges the cycle of seasons, the ups and downs of life, and natural movement from one phase of life to the next. Using this system to create rituals will bring you the appropriate healing and wellbeing that you are needing at this time in your life.
I consult with you to clarify your intentions and then create a meaningful ritual to achieve that intention. It could be 5 seconds or 5 minutes… or more. It could be done in public or in private, or both.

These are the four main categories in which people decide to host a ceremony. However, a nature based ceremony can be added to any life transition such as marriage, buying a new house, connecting with your land or even starting a new job. I proudly present my guide to creating your own nature based baby naming ceremony. My mission is to empower humans through intentional living and connecting with nature.The beginning of life is a great place to start!
This guide is the perfect way to land your baby on earth, connect your baby to nature, bring your baby into her/his family and communities, and declare your baby’s name!
Inside you will find two pages for each of the five elements. The first is a set of questions with some example answers to help you create that element’s aspect of your Ceremony. The second is a format for that element’s part of the ceremony with a sample script.
It is quite simple and the flow will feel natural. As you work through this guidebook, you will identify the elemental objects you choose to use and the people you wish to honor in each part of the ceremony. You will be able to write the script or outline as you go and create a list of items needed for the special day.
How often & how much does it cost?
How Often?
Acupuncture is a cumulative medicine that is best used on a regular basis. Acupuncture can address many fertility issues and alleviate many of the common or less usual pregnancy issues. Weekly visits are ideal for the first 4-6 sessions. In the case of pregnancy, I may be available for a home visit during and/or after the birth.
How much?
The initial treatment costs $180 and follow ups are $126. The length of the session is typically one hour.
