Autumn Roots and Seeds

Greetings on this unique, once in a lifetime, day in creation!

Have you noticed the change in the quality of light? There is a certain glow to this time of year that envelopes us and we are ripe for transformation. This takes release, surrender and remembering that you are held in the light. Are you here for it?

It can feel vulnerable to acknowledge the times when we did not act in alignment with love. It can feel like stinky poo or wasted potential. Fear not, for nature is still the perfect example for us. There are many root crops hidden underground. When we dig past the dirt, we find an abundant source of nourishment. Also, many of the plants that appear to be dead are actually full of mature seeds.

When we do the work to harvest the root crops and separate the seeds we realize the expansive potential for life. Each experience that was not ideal reminds us to find the lessons, re-center and forgive. Now with this perspective are you ready for the transformation? Click here to print seasonal tips for the end of this late summer season.

On Yom Kippur, tonight and tomorrow, Jews around the world enter a day of atonement or At-one-ment. We seek compassion and forgiveness for ourselves and those who have wronged us and we recall this one day of the year in ancient times when the high priest would enter the holy of holies in the temple. I believe this inner sanctum is our heart.

Thankfully, we have access to our heart, the holy of holies of our body temple, whenever we choose. What’s the catch? It takes practice and I would be honored to help you remember to orient towards your heart and love.

Treat yourself to an acupuncture session to relax and restore. Not only will it help you find your equilibrium, but it will also ripple out to those around you. I currently have openings for new patients on Mondays and now also Thursdays at the Greenhouse Wellness Center. You may Schedule here.

In service to your belonging in your body and nature,
